We were in Lethbridge for a bit of an exploration mission…My husband had been given word that he might be getting transferred/ promoted to Lethbridge to assist with the opening of a new store for his current company. We thought we better see if we even liked the city as we were just getting used to Calgary life. Not really knowing where things were we accidently found an open house that Dave was hosting on the Westside. Well that sure was a very lucky finding for us! We told Dave we weren’t sure if we were going to move down or not and if we did we would most likely just rent for a year or so… It was odd but impressive to see a sales person still willing to help us out after we told him we weren’t thinking we would be either moving down or buying… Dave was so very kind to give us many directions and maps of the city and then provided us with an open house list for us to tour the city on our own to see if there was a certain area of the city that seemed interesting.
A couple weeks later we got unofficial word we were moving to Lethbridge. We contacted Dave and Jen and told them what we were looking for and they set up a search for things only with our wish lists to view on our own time. Once we came down Dave provided us with a very detailed tour of the city and let us know all about the city and of the various areas. Once we got official word about moving we had to put our home up for sale in Calgary and honestly we now felt pretty over whelmed having to sell our current home and quickly find a place to stay in Lethbridge. Not knowing who to trust or call for selling our home Dave set us up with a realtor in Calgary that was very kind and patient with us and took the time to explain things step by step. Our home sold pretty fast and that sure took some of the pressure off us. We found a rental place in Lethbridge and then started to view more homes with Dave. WOW Dave sure knows his stuff and the city and the best part was he never pressured us into finding just any old home as we had some pretty unique needs and desires for our wish list. Thank you Dave and Jennifer Brodoway for all your hard work and finding us our dream home and making the whole process hassle free. If anyone ever asks us about real estate we will only tell them to call Dave and Jen.
